What We Collect

Data Processing

All domain availability checking happens locally in your browser. Here's how it works:

• Domain queries: Your domains are sent directly to public RDAP endpoints (rdap.org) and Cloudflare DNS (cloudflare-dns.com) for availability checking. These are standard internet protocols.
• Local storage: We use Chrome's chrome.storage API to store your daily usage counter and preferences locally on your device.
• License verification: If you upgrade to Pro, a unique anonymous ID is used to verify your license status. No personal information is transmitted.

Third-Party Services

The extension connects to these external services:

• rdap.org — RDAP protocol queries for domain registration status
• cloudflare-dns.com — DNS fallback for availability checking
• bulkdomainchecker.site — License verification (Pro users only)

We do not control these services' privacy practices. Domain queries may be logged by these providers according to their own policies.

Permissions Explained

• storage: Save your usage counter, license state, and preferences locally
• host_permissions: Required to make availability queries to RDAP/DNS endpoints and verify Pro licenses

Data Retention

We don't retain any data because we don't collect any. Your local Chrome storage can be cleared at any time through Chrome's extension settings.

Children's Privacy

This extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance.
